BEC preparation course

Studying Business English is a great way to enhance and develop your current skills in English. The courses focuses on vocabulary, collocations, phrases and functional forms together with all the skills needed to pass the Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC) examination at either Vantage (B2) or Higher (C1) level. Those skills include writing business correspondence, interacting in meetings, listening to and understanding presentations as well as using language structures accurately.

Using real-life situations, business endeavours and current practices in the business world, our Business English courses are designed to stimulate and engage students who want to practically extend their language skills and gain an edge over the competition.

Level

We run two levels of Business English Courses. The first focuses on the BEC Vantage exam and is for students at an Upper Intermediate (B2) level of English (a level that is similar to that of our FCE courses). The next course focuses on the BEC Higher exam and is for students at an Advanced (C1) level of English (a similar level to that of our CAE courses).

Students

Business English caters for many different types of people: from the consummate professional, experienced in their field, to the first year student of economics. However, you don’t need either training or experience in business to take part in our Business English courses – anyone who is interested in this type of English is welcome to attend.
